There is so much to be thankful for, not just today, but every day. Most days we wake up and take for granted what we have right in front of us.
A few years ago, I started a gratitude journal, where I wrote down at least three things I was grateful for each day. My list started out as basic as this: “I am grateful for 1. Mom 2. Food 3. A home to live in,” but gradually developed into so much more. I have a whole post on how this simple gratitude exercise changed my life.
Gratitude is so powerful, and the benefits of practicing gratitude regularly are nearly endless. Gratitude can be found in the smallest of details and simplest acts of everyday life. Even on our darkest days, there is always something to be thankful for.
