First things first, let’s address the burning question – does Gucci ever go on sale?

When Does Gucci Go On Sale?
As I mentioned above, Gucci products go on sale, but it’s a little complicated – let me further explain.
Gucci does not hold sales in their brick-and-mortar stores or online. They even have a statement on their website describing this.
This means that you cannot walk into a brick-and-mortar Gucci store in your city and snag a deal.
However, there are many other places to get a discount – both online and in-store.
Not to mention, you can find Gucci discounts all year round!
Gucci Outlets Online
Now that you know Gucci items go on sale, you’re probably wondering: where can you find discounted Gucci products online?
My favorite third-party retailers & e-commerce sites that sell authentic Gucci products include:
You’ll notice that Cettire and Italist are European online outlets, while Gilt and Rue La La are American.
Did you know that you can get Gucci products cheaper in Europe, compared to the US & Asia?!
I did not realize this until stumbling upon (and then purchasing from) these European e-commerce outlets listed above!
Because Gucci is an Italian brand, the proximity to the production facilities in Europe results in lower transportation and importation costs.
Not to mention, Gucci’s pricing strategy considers local market conditions, including competition, demand, and purchasing power.
All of these third-party retailers are authorized and licensed to sell Gucci products, so have comfort in knowing that authenticity is guaranteed.
You can find year-round discounts on the sites below. So, no worries if you are reading this blog post months after it was published!
*Please don’t forget to double-check these retailers’ return policies, as some items may be final sale.*
1. Cettire
Cettire is an online retailer that offers discounted designer products, including Gucci.
They work directly with luxury brands to offer their products at discounted prices, sometimes up to 50% off the original price.
Cettire has a wide selection (the best in my opinion!) of Gucci products, from handbags and shoes to clothing and accessories. You can even find some of their latest collections at a discount!
They also regularly have sales and promotions, making it a great place to keep an eye on for deals.
2. Gilt
Gilt is an American online shopping and lifestyle website that provides designer labels at discounted prices.
They offer a mixture of products from various brands, including Gucci.
Gilt adds new sales daily, and their “flash” sales typically last for 36-48 hours, offering customers high-end products at a fraction of the retail price.
Their Gucci collection ranges from stylish handbags and elegant shoes to chic clothing and accessories.
However, these items tend to sell out quickly due to the significant discounts, so it’s important to act fast when you see something you like!
Please note that you will have to create an account on Gilt to use their site or app.
3. Italist
Italist is another awesome platform that offers significant discounts on luxury brands, including Gucci.
This online retailer sources their products directly from over 200 Italian boutiques and brands. As a result, they provide customers with a vast range of Gucci items at lower prices than traditional retail.
Furthermore, Italist offers worldwide shipping, making your favorite Gucci products just a click away from your doorstep.
4. Rue La La
Rue La La is another fantastic online platform where you can find Gucci products at discounted prices.
Similar to Gilt, this member-only site hosts boutique events for some of the most prestigious fashion brands globally, including Gucci.
Rue La La’s “flash” sales and events typically last 1-3 days, offering a curated selection of Gucci merchandise from chic purses and shoes to sophisticated clothing options, often at significantly lower prices.
Like Gilt, these items can sell out rapidly due to high demand, so it’s wise to move swiftly when you spot an item you desire!
Please note that you will also have to create an account to use Rue La La’s site or app.

Additional Gucci Sales
When it comes to Gucci shoes, bags, and accessories, don’t forget about Saks Off Fifth and Nordstrom Rack! Although both these stores tend to carry a mix of discounted Gucci items (hit or miss tbh), their prices are unbeatable. I’ve scored a pair of Gucci sunglasses at a fraction of the price!
In addition, other reputable online retailers tend to have end-of-season sales or bi-annual sales for seasonal items.
Websites like Net-a-Porter, MyTheresa, The Outnet, and Farfetch often host time-limited sales events where you can snag Gucci at a discount.
Stores like Nordstrom, Neiman Marcus, Saks Fifth Avenue, and Bloomingdale’s often have promotions, especially during the holiday season.
Not to mention, these stores may offer loyalty programs or credit card benefits that can provide extra savings, so be sure to sign up for any perks.
Here’s a full list of Gucci retailers & e-commerce sites that hold seasonal sales:
- Net-a-Porter
- MyTheresa
- Farfetch
- The Outnet
- Nordstrom’s Private Designer Sale
- Nordstrom Rack
- Saks Fifth Avenue
- Saks Off Fifth
- Neiman Marcus
- Bergdorf Goodman
- SSENSE
- Bloomingdale’s
However, it’s important to note that these sales come and go quite quickly, and the majority of them are also typically not shared with the public.
Most of these retailers host private sales that are only open to their most valued and VIP customers.
Luckily for you, yours truly is in the know, and I love sharing these designer sales with my Mindfully Glam community!

Gucci Outlet Stores
Although you won’t be able to get a discount at a Gucci store or on the Gucci website, brick-and-mortar Gucci outlets exist!
In the United States, you can find a handful (ten exactly) of Gucci factory outlets from coast to coast.
Here’s a full list of Gucci outlet locations in the US.
These outlets offer 50-70% discounts on high-end Gucci products, making them way more accessible to consumers who are looking to get a deal.
Does Gucci Have Black Friday Sales?
By opting to not have sales, Gucci creates a sense of urgency and exclusivity for their products, making them even more desirable.
Sadly, Gucci does not participate in Black Friday or Cyber Monday sales and promotions.
By rarely offering discounts, the brand ensures that customers are paying for the superior quality and design of their products, rather than just a name or label.
But wait – third-party retailers (such as the ones listed above) tend to offer Black Friday and/or Cyber Monday promotions on Gucci items. It all depends on the retailer and what’s available.

Does Gucci Have Private Sales?
Once upon a time, Gucci held private sales twice a year. Similar to Chanel’s private sale, they formerly discounted seasonal items for both the spring/summer and fall/winter seasons.
Sadly, Gucci’s private sales no longer exist. They haven’t been around since 2016.
Gucci may offer seasonal perks to VIPs, but I can’t say for certain as I’m (sadly) not a VIP at Gucci.

Pre-Owned Gucci
If you’re looking for a more consistent discount option, you can also consider purchasing pre-owned Gucci.
Websites like The RealReal, Fashionphile, and Rebag specialize in selling authentic designer goods that have been previously owned. These are my top 3 favorite pre-loved sites.
Try using the code “REAL” for a 20% discount off The RealReal (exclusions may apply, but it’s worth a try!) 😊
I personally love shopping pre-loved when I’m on the hunt for something vintage or from a previous season.
While the prices may still be high, you can save a few hundred dollars and still get the same iconic look!
Final Thoughts on Gucci Sales
Finding discounted Gucci products online is all about being on the lookout for deals and promotions.
Don’t be discouraged if you don’t find what you’re looking for right away, as inventory is constantly changing and new sales are always popping up!
Keep checking back at these online retailers and platforms, and subscribe to my email list to stay updated on any potential discounts.
Who knows, you may just find your dream Gucci item at a price you never thought possible.
Don’t give up and happy shopping!
